About Isophonia

An independent initiative devoted to the study of musical performance.

Isophonia was created to provide a shared space for research, publications, diagrams, observations and dialogue across music, biomechanics, acoustics and pedagogy.

Its starting point is practical: listening to musicians, observing how they move, testing how tools behave and asking how these elements contribute to musical meaning.
